Introduction

The following terms and conditions constitute the agreement between you and Southgate Minicabs. By booking a taxi and utilizing our service, you unequivocally acknowledge and accept the terms and conditions outlined in this agreement.

1. Definitions

In this agreement, "Southgate Minicabs”, we, or us refers to the service provider, while "you" and "you're" encompass any individual, business, or company making a reservation with us.

2. Booking

2.1 You are responsible for allowing sufficient time for your journey to ensure timely arrival, including airport transfers where adherence to specific flight check-in times is critical. Southgate Minicabs shall not be held responsible for any delays resulting from your failure to allocate adequate time for reaching your destination or being ready for pickup at the scheduled time.

2.2 You are responsible for selecting a vehicle of suitable size to accommodate all passengers and luggage. Southgate Minicabs does not guarantee the carriage of an excessive amount of luggage, and it's important to note that a child, regardless of age, is considered a single passenger.

2.3 If wheelchair access is required, please specify this when making your booking.

3. Prices & Payment

3.1 Southgate Minicabs provides quotes based on the information you provide. All prices, unless stated otherwise, are exclusive of VAT, which will be charged separately if applicable. We reserve the right to adjust the quoted price in case of substantial changes to the itinerary.

3.2 Our quoted price includes a 45-minute waiting period after the designated landing time, as well as airport parking charges. Any waiting time exceeding this limit will be subject to standard Southgate Minicabs waiting rates. While we make efforts to monitor flight details and adjust our service for delays, such adjustments are not obligatory.

3.3 Upon acceptance of a quote from us, you will receive a booking confirmation. It is your responsibility to review this confirmation for accuracy. Failure to notify Southgate Minicabs of any errors may result in delays or additional costs for which we shall not be held liable.

3.4 Payment for our services can be made in cash, by credit card, or by debit card.

4. The Service

4.1 You are responsible for the conduct of all passengers during the journey. Any soiling, damage, or adverse impact on the vehicle caused by passengers may result in cleaning fees.

4.2 Eating, drinking, or smoking in the vehicle is strictly prohibited.

4.3 All children in the vehicle should be appropriately restrained according to their height, weight, and age.

4.4 We are not permitted to carry more passengers than allowed by our licensing or insurance.

5. Cancellations

5.1 In case you need to cancel your booking with Southgate Minicabs, please notify us as soon as possible. If a vehicle is canceled after dispatch, a charge will be applied based on the time and distance covered by the driver up to the point of cancellation.

5.2 If you booked through our online system and canceled before dispatch, there may be a charge levied on the original payment.

6. Liability

6.1 While Southgate Minicabs strives to ensure punctual arrivals at your destination, we are not liable for losses incurred due to delays beyond our control. There are no circumstances under which Southgate Minicabs accepts liability for any losses suffered by you or your business.

6.2 You assume all risk for your luggage.

6.3 In the event of a breakdown during your journey with Southgate Minicabs, we will make reasonable efforts to provide an alternative vehicle for you to complete your journey as promptly as possible.

6.4 You agree not to hold Southgate Minicabs liable for any expenses, damages, costs, or losses resulting from any act or omission by anyone in your party.

6.5 No party can exclude or limit liability for personal injury or death caused by negligence, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful default, or any other matter that is unenforceable under applicable laws.

7. Termination

7.1 We reserve the right to terminate or refuse a booking immediately if any vehicle or driver is put at risk by you or any other passenger through abuse, violence, or damage. No refunds will be issued for terminated journeys.

8. Miscellaneous

8.1 Southgate Minicabs may delegate its obligations as outlined in this agreement. You are not permitted to assign, delegate, or transfer any rights or obligations under this agreement.

8.2 Southgate Minicabs reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time by updating this page. Please review these terms and conditions regularly to stay informed of any changes. Existing bookings will be honored at the rates in effect at the time of booking.

8.3 We handle and process information by the Data Protection Act of 1988.

8.4 This agreement constitutes the entire agreement between Southgate Minicabs and yourself.

8.5 No part of these terms and conditions is intended to confer any benefit to a third party. No third party may enforce rights under this agreement unless otherwise stipulated in writing.

9. Disputes

Any disagreement or claim must be made within 30 days of the booking pickup date. Claims and disputes made after this timeframe will not be entertained by Southgate Minicabs.
